Minutes

Present:  G. Willcox, J. Gane, D. Creed, T. Hodgson, P. Gurl, J. Tucker, D. Cllr J. Greenhalgh and parishioner D. Bowditch.

Apologies:  M. Colman, L. Aldridge and A. Creed.

Minutes of the last meeting were approved and signed.

Nil Matters arising.

Correspondence:  Circulated.

Planning: 

1.  Extension to Glasshouse and installation of rain water collection tank/The Homestead.

Proposed, seconded and passed Recommend Approval.

2.  Single-storey dwelling and double garage to the rear of site with some level of hard and soft landscaping/Land at rear of Manor Farm.

D. Bowditch outlined health reasons for wishing the proposed to be passed, the unsuitability of any property for sale in the village prohibited by cost and suitability and the wish to remain living in the village close to his family.  He answered questions re construction materials and access.

Proposed, seconded and passed Recommend Approval.

Mr Bowditch left the meeting.

Planning decision, Mendip District Council:

Proposed extension to side and rear of house to form new conservatory/Coopers Cottage/Laverley.  Approved with conditions.

D. Cllr Greenhalgh gave a brief update re Mendip District Council.
