A Meeting was held on 19.01.17.
Present: G. Willcox (Chairman), L.Aldridge, J. Gane, P. Gurl, T. Hodgson, A. Creed, J. Tucker and M. Colman.
Apologies: D. Creed.
Minutes of the last meeting were approved and signed.
Matters arising: The parish council's suggestion for naming new housing development at Yew Cottage Carslaw Close has been turned down by the developer who has chosen The Groves.
Correspondence: Circulated.
Finance: Precept 2017-18 set at £3,500.
Planning: Planning decisions by Mendip District Council:
1. Erection of 10 Holiday Let Cabins, Laundry Room, Storage Shed and extension of existing Spa Building/Upper Woodlands Farm/Bradley Way. Refused.
2. Erection single storey glazed canopy/1, Gifford Drive. Approved.
3. Removal existing downstairs toilet, add en suite toilet first floor rear bedroom (retrospective) and refurb Garage conversion including installed rooflights/Cypress Cottage. Approved.
4. Provision of Holiday Lodge in the grounds of The Forge/East St. Approved.
Planning Applications:
1. 3 New Holiday Chalets and associated planting/Stickleball Hill Farm/Stickleball Lane.
Proposed, seconded and Passed Recommend Approval.

Highways Matters:
Concerns re damage to the road Surface in Newtown Lane appertaining to the development at Yew Cottage.
