As per our Business Continuity Motion the following Planning Applications were viewed by all Parish Councillors with the following observations:-
1. 2021/0585/HSE. Proposed conversion and extension of existing garage building to form annexe use ancillary to host dwelling/West Pennard House/Church Lane. The Parish Council Recommend Approval with the provisio it is -
A. Retained as ancillary to host dwelling as if split then additional access would be required and as the top of Church Lane is very congested with school traffic twice daily an additional access would make the situation worse.
B. Does not impact on properties in Hillside.
2. 2021/0470/FUL. Creation of new farm access/Manor Farm/Coxbridge. The Parish Council Recommend Approval provided Highways approve of the access.
3. 2021/0647/FUL and 2021/0648/LBC. Erection of single storey timber workshop to the rear of the garden/Priory Cottage/Woodlands. The Parish Council Recommend Approval.
4. 2021/0644/FUL. Demolition of Outbuilding. Replacement with first floor holiday flat, ground floor storage and studio/Laurel Farm/Laurel Lane. The Parish Council Recommend Approval. One objection on the grounds the proposed is of an overbearing design.
The Parish Council are awaiting Planning Decisions from Mendip District Council and Somerset County Council re Traffic Problems and Yellow Lining in the Village.
