Minutes of the last meeting were approved and signed.

Nil Matters arising.

Planning Applications were discussed first:  A. Creed declared an Interest re Planning No. 1.

1.  Erection of 10 Holiday Let Cabins, laundry room, storage shed and extension of existing spa building/Upper Woodlands Farm/Bradley Way.

Recommend Approval.

Clerk left the Meeting.  Meeting suspended.

Clerk returned to resume Meeting.

Messrs Crang and Wright left the Meeting.

2.  Create new vehicular access and driveway from highway, East St Farm/East St.

Recommend Approval with the view it is making an entrance very safe and useable.

Correspondence circulated - no further action.

Planning decision: MDC - Remove existing concrete render and replace with lime/6, Mulberry Farm/Scottles Lane.  Approved.

Finance:  Clerk reported satisfactory conclusion of Audit.

Cheques drawn: 

1.  Murf Dog Ltd.,  £150.00, Cost of annual web hosting, support and domain registration.

It was decided not to increase level of security at this stage.

2.  Royal British Legion, £25.00.  Purchase of Poppy Wreath.

Highways Matters to be reported:

Laurel Street, Moggs Hole (sticklynch side) and Scottles Lane are in a very bad state.

Newtown Lane Sign needs to be replaced following an accident.

AOB:

Reports the school bus is driving on the footpath to pass parked vehicles.

Chairman will be attending and speaking on the parish council's behalf at a Board Meeting, MDC Offices, 19.10.16 Re planning Yew Cottage/Newtown Lane, Minutes 11.08.16.

Concerns expressed again regarding the already congested Newtown Lane which would increase further should the development be permitted.  A recent collision resulted in demolition of the Newtown Lane Sign.  There are safety concerns also for pedestrians, in particular school children, siblings and accompanying adults.
