Planning decisions, MDC.

1.  Approval of details condition 3/

Approve timber garage/Mulberry Cottage/Scottles lane.

2.  Confirmation of condition compliance, conditions 2 and 3/Crossings Cottage/Stickleball lane.

Planning Appeal - dismissed - Wind turbines/Piltown Farm/Piltown.

Finance:

1.  Chq drawn for £326.00, new parish council website.

Highways Matters reported.

1.  Request for measures to prevent slippery footpath Hillside to Southtown lane.

2.  Complaint grass verge outside Lippeats/Newtown lane churned up by traffic.  Request for kerbing.  Potholes at same location.

1.  Pothole by third bungalow, Newtown lane has reappeared.

2.  Deep pothole/Priory Farm/Woodlands.

D.Cllr Greenhalgh gave a brief report.

There will be a 1.75% Council Tax increase.  N.B. Somerset has the second lowest.

MDC are going to resolve the Yew Tree Cottage planning issue using 'delegated powers'.

The Parish Council reiterated the opinion the entire issue has been misrepresented by vendor and developers, that MDC were made aware early-on and the application surely has no validity.
