Minutes of the last meeting were approved and signed.

Public Speaking-time.
Concerns expressed re ongoing traffic problems in Newtown lane - speeding and inappropriate parking.
Clerk reported the yellow lining will be implemented but no date given as yet.
Ideas such as posting letters through doors, an article in the Parish News and 'Slow down through our Village' signs were suggested and approved by all present.
P. Early left the meeting.
Matters arising: Clerk reported having received an email as works completed on roads reported - Bradley Way, Whitelake to Redlake road and top of Page lane.
The Parish Council felt this was not so - Clerk to report to SCC Highways again.
Correspondence - circulated.
No further action required.
Finance - Accounts and current Bank statement presented for inspection.
One cheque drawn for £25.00, Poppy Wreath, Royal British Legion.
Due to Covid - 19 new restrictions commencing Thursday 5th November 2020 there will not be a Memorial Service for Remembrance Sunday.
J. Tucker will lay the wreath on behalf of the Parish Council and the village on November 11th.
Planning:-
1. Installation of 28 panel/9.7KW Solar PV System to south facing roof of outbuilding/Higher Southtown Farm/Southtown lane/Planning Ref 2020/2023/LBC.
It was proposed, seconded and passed Recommend Approval.
2. Single storey side extension to replace existing lean-to shed and first floor extension over existing garage/Lerburne/Newtown lane/Planning Ref 2020/2154/HSE.
It was proposed, seconded and passed Recommend Approval.

Request from a parishoner re providing a playground with the backing of the parish council:
All present agreed that -
1. Approved the idea in principle.
2. A suitable site would be required.
The parish council were informed a sum of money was raised by the village for such a project a number of years ago and did not proceed. It was felt the recipients should fund the project.
