Matters arising:

Bad state of the lanes - Scottles Lane, Page Lane and Bradley Way were referred to SCC Glastonbury Office.  Clerk asked to send a copy to CCllr N. H.Cooper. It was observed the SCC Highways have 'a duty of care' as regards road safety and road users - particularly in these reported cases.

Yellow lining -  Traffic engineer is re-issuing of the lining work as a priority so hopefully will be done shortly.

MDC - Consultation on Planning Validation List ends 19th July.

In brief this means a review of the 'local list' due to an increase in phosphates on the Somerset Levels and Moors.  It is proposed to amend the current planning application Validation List to include a validation requirement to submit a Nutrient Neutrality Assessment and Mitigation Strategy on affected developments within the Somerset Levels and Moors water catchment area.

Local Government Reorganisation in Somerset - The Secretary of State for Local Government is expected to make his decision on proposals in the next few weeks.
