For countrywide consistency there is now the Check for Flooding service at Check for flooding - GOV.UK or calling 0345 988 1188/Textphone 0345 602 6340.
River level information is available at any time at Find river, sea, groundwater and rainfall levels-GOV.UK (check-for-flooding.service.gov.uk)
