Minutes of meeting 19.03, Business concluded 10.04, 12.05, 20.07, and 01.09.2020 as per Business Continuity motion passed 19.03.2020 were approved and signed.
Public Speaking time:
Concerns expressed by a resident re traffic flow, speeding, increased volume of vehicles, a bottleneck resulting from vehicles parking near Newtown lane junction with A361, and the inappropriate parking of vehicles during school pick - up times between Church lane and Southtown lane.
Query also as to when yellow lining (meeting 19.12.2019) will be instigated.
Clerk reported this work has been delayed - letter re all of the above to be sent to SCC Highways as this is essential.
M. Colman reported the school sends weekly emails to parents. The school bus arrives early and leaves early to avoid congestion. As school governor she will be attending a meeting shortly and will convey these concerns.
D. Creed proposed a 20mph speed limit between the village hall and The Elms.
