Planning Applications viewed by all Parish Councillors with the following Observations:-

1.  Erection of first floor extension/two storey extension and erection of single storey extension to front elevation/Mendip View/Woodlands road to Stockbridge lane/Planning Ref 2020/1329/HSE - Recommend Approval.

2.  Application for Street Trading to serve food in field behind Layby/The Mead/Sticklynch - No Objections.

3.  New Building and extension for covered cattle collection yard/Higher Sticklynch Farm/Sticklynch/Planning Ref 2020/1205/FUL - Recommend Approval.

4.  Outline Application for the Erection of 8 dwellings (all matters reserved except access) including demolition of existing garage, stable and annexe extension/Land south west of The Post House/Newtown lane/Planning Ref 2020/1485/OTS - Recommend Refusal with the following observations -  Objections - strongly - for reasons of impact and density of site and impact on surrounding existing properties, over development, an already existing issue with foul water drainage in Newtown lane (putting a 'dog-leg' in would increase problems), traffic problems already in existence, too many cars being parked on Newtown lane including near the Post House entrance and on the white line at the end of the junction causing concern for traffic safety as it currently is without adding numbers.  NB  The speed survey attached to the application was out of date and did not reflect the true flow of traffic.

Clerk received a number of objections to the above and advised they be conveyed individually to Mendip District Council.

Following Approval from the Parish Council, the Clerk filed the necessary papers with the Village Hall.
